"I was looking for a trainer for my 16 month old Cane Corso. My dog had behavioral issues, had bitten 3 people, always barking and whining and had been aggressive toward my young boys. Being genetically an aggressive breed, we were concerned about him hurting someone, or getting hurt. We love our dog and wanted to correct the behaviors. I googled K9 trainers, and found Randy. Randy set up an initial meeting with our pup in order to assess his behaviors, in an effort to discern the training he would need. Upon meeting Randy, our pup King was not a fan, in fact he almost bit Randy after jumping up in his face. Randy talked with us and recommended a 3 week board and train program. He was confident that although King needed a lot of work, that with his experience and training with aggressive breeds, he could turn Kings behaviors around. We were hopeful as well. King left us not socialized well with other animals and people, he met people by jumping up and at times knocking them over, he would listen only when he chose and was using his body aggressively to get his way. After Randy coming to pick up our pup, we received daily updates, videos and pictures of our pup King's progress. What was wonderful, is that in the videos, Randy while training our dog, was also training us. He worked on socializing King with people and other animals. Taking King into public settings where there are lots of distractions. We requested that our dog be trained in German commands, and that is exactly what Randy did. He took the time to learn our pup and his triggers, and because of this Randy was able to provide us with important insight into our dog's behaviors, and thus giving us DO's and Don'ts, to keep both our pup safe, us and others that he may meet. Randy took additional time to educate my young children on the correct ways to handle our pup, with 2 handler training sessions, one in a public setting and one at the time of turnover. Randy was firm and transparent on the process and how he would handle our pup. We just got our pup back about a week ago, and wow! Just wow! What a difference. I am so very pleased to have my fur baby back, and with much better behavior. No more jumping when he meets people, he listens to commands, he is able to be walked OFF LEASH!!! King is calmer, does not resist the e-collar anymore and is comfortable with me putting his muzzle on when around new people, among so many other good behaviors. The combination of Randy's training of King AND the handler training has made all the difference! I feel much more confident owning an aggressive breed, now that he has been trained by InSyncK9. Randy has offered to be available any time we have any questions and/or issues in the future and if needed, will give refresher training to King.
